Myst VR was a small, experimental VR-only project rapidly developed at Cyan in a time period of roughly two weeks. The purpose of the effort was to push the boundaries of visual fidelity in realtime VR, while at the same time breathing new life into the classic, timeless place that is Myst Island.  Every aspect of the locale was reinvented from the ground up, based only loosely on the original renderings.

The project never proceeded beyond this early proof-of-concept.

I led the development team as Art Director and personally handled all of the natural/organic elements in the scene (ground, trees, rocks, plants, etc.), as well as authoring the shader pipeline used throughout.
